Dad's cancer

Today my dad is admitted to hospital due a kind of blood cancer. And I simply pray God will do his work. Have  not come to a point to know of what to do and feel or even think, but surely to be mentally prepared.

Choosing right companies

As I am preparing for the young people session on Nov. Basically the outline is something that I apply in my life and speaks to me personally.

Right company and friends
1. Builds our relationship with God
2. Builds our character
3. Builds our boundaries

Wrong company and friends
1. Destroys our relationship with God
2. Destroys our character
3. Destroys our boundaries

Fear of the Lord and love

Was reminded in proverbs 15:16-17

Better a little with the fear of the Lord
Than great wealth with turmoil

Better a meal of vegetables where there is love
Than a fatten calf with hatred

I wish I could live a life that fears God and peace loving relationships with the people around me.

But I know I am sinful man and it's not easy to live in peace despite all efforts made.

Faith

Faith without deeds is presumptuous faith.

Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

And without faith it is impossible to please God,  because anyone who comes to him must believe he exist and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Faith is base on the promise of God for the glory of God.

Faith with out the promise of God but for the glory is presumptuous faith. Faith on the promise of God but not for the glory of God is also presumptuous faith.

The promise of God is that he is faithful, he is with us, and he loves us, for those who believe in him shall have external life. John 3:16

Probs 9

A man who fears God is a wise man.
Verse 8 to 11.
A wise man is open to rebuke
A wise man is teachable
A wise man is obedient

The fear of the Lord is beginning of wisdom, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

God's invitation of love

Provbs 8 : 17
I love those who love me,
and those who seek me find me.

I thank God for his invitation of love, that when I seek him of love him, he will always be there. Especially these period with so many difficulties that he has deliver me from. All the relational aspects and ministry work.

Am reminded about his word where he promise to us. =) we draw near to him, he surely draw near to us. He will protect and honor, he will reveal himself and satisfy my true need.
 
1 sam 2:30
But now the Lord declares:‘Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.

Psalms 91:14 - 16
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation.

Thanking God for the prayer meeting

Brought Ai wei and Jeffery to the prayer meeting although it doesn't make sense because they don't know Christ. Yet however Jeffery shown keen interest to be prayer for over his sins, and that he believed there is God. Thank God for this wonderful work in Jeffery life.

I hope to bring them to our young people ministry and that they will receive Jesus as their Lord. And also hoping that Lovell (god daugther) will grow up in a Christian environment and stay close to God.

I pray that God's hand is with them.
